Tunnel and Sky

This one above here is a tunnel in city centre in Birmingham on Friday. It was taken from inside a car obviously

I took this one and the one below this morning. It was sunrise, but I couldn't quite get the sunrise itself from my room. I took them while I was in bed by the way I could see the sky better that way! I'm feeling blue today! Haha!

Is it just me or do some of the clouds in the above photograph look like a bird?! A bird that's flying downwards! Don't you think?!

You can see more of my photos in my Flickr account by the way!

Have fun everyone!:D

City Centre

Another Weekend! On Saturday I went to the city centre with my sis and her friend. We walked and walked and talked. It was pretty windy, but that was alright.

At one point we sat down, near the Bullring which is like a giant honeycomb, but rather than hexagons, it's made of circles.

This church is in front of the Bullring. You can probably see the Bullring just behind it.

The round thing you see below is what I call the 'Birmingham Eye' not quite as big as the London Eye though. I took it while we were on the bus on our way to a restaurant. We went to this Iranian reataurant. I'd never been to it before. It was really nice. They didn't serve Iranian food though, it was more like a pizza shop but a proper one. I had chicken fillet burger which was so yummy, since I was very hungry and since I don't eat chicken from McDonald's or KFC.

And this is us! The one with pink shoes is my sis, the one with purple trousers is her friend and the other one is me.

The Weekend

I took these ones on Sunday. We went to Redditch (somewhere near Birmingham). You can probably see from the reflections that the one above and the one just below were taken from inside a car. Recently, I have fallen in love with clouds. Specially the Cumulus ones. They were really pretty that day as well.

First we went to a car-boot-sale. It was in the outskirts of Redditch. There were loads and loads of cars and quite a lot of people as well, obviously. There was this family, a man and her wife, everything they were selling had come from different places in the world. There was a small box which was from South Africa, and another that belonged to the lady's grandfather I think, and was from the war! There was also a pearl brooch that was from Japan. I was gonna buy that one, it was only a quid, but I don't know why I didn't!

I bought a pearl necklace though, for 50 pence, quite good, eh?! The reason why we went there was because my mum wanted to but pots, for plants that is, not for cooking! But she didn't find any.

The funny thing was that my mum bought a box of Martini glasses! I said to her: " Mum!...we don't drink Martini, why on earth did u buy that?" and she went :" Well, we can have ice cream in them."

Cumulus Clouds

These are some more shots of the sky from my room. I took them yesterday. I was sorta busy yesterday and didn't have a chance to get pictures outside , but I could see how beautiful the clouds were in the sky and I just coludn't wait to get home and get a few shots. They were 'unmissable', hehe! They looks ten times more beautiful if you saw them with your eyes. The sky was so blue, a very nice kinda blue, with these bright,cotton-like, puffy clouds. I remember when I was in Primary school, when we actually learnt what different clouds were called. I guess these ones are Cumulus ones (don't worry, I'm not that smart, I just checked the spelling of Cumulus in Google, hehe!)

Sunset

I took these yesterday evening. I found out then how to take shots of light in a way that they don't look so bright in the photo. Well...i don't even know if that has a special name or something. I guess I should be looking for some sort of 'photography lessons' or something. Or even ask someone who knows about these things.
Yea, I was saying..I took these yesterday from the kitchen and from my room.
These days, I mean since I found out that a part of me likes photography, I've been looking at the world differently. Every scene can be a shot, a nice one. But you have to know how to make that shot 'nice', and I guess that comes after a bit (or maybe more) of experience, which I haven't quite got!
Haha..I'm getting carried away now! Why don't you let me know what you think of these photos. Well, there aren't many yet here in my blog, but you can look at some more in my Flickr account: http://flickr.com/photos/zuzumangoo/
